The iPhone 5 is still a month away from launching (if there even is one!) but that hasn’t stopped Chinese retailer taking pre-orders for the next generation iPhone!
More than 100 online shop owners on Taobao are taking iPhone 5 pre orders for and are advertising the launch date for the new iPhone to be September 7th.

Pre orders for the iPhone 5 are advertised on the Chinese eBay style website from 4000 Yuan ($625) – 7000 Yuan ($1100)! depending on the which version of the iPhone 5 (claimed 16Gb-128Gb).
It’s not only online retailers who are trying to cash in on the iPhone 5 fever either, as Meituan, a Beijing based Groupon style website are offering iPhone 5’s as prizes for following the site on Sina’s Weibo service!
Chinese media outlets claim the iPhone 5 will receive 4g network support and an 8 mega-pixel camera once released!
