Just bought yourself a new Chinese phone running a version of the fantastic Google Android OS and want to import your contacts? Well follow these simple steps.
I was actually asked this question in the comments section of this post, however I decided to answer the question with a how to article rather than just post it as a reply because I’m sure other users have the same question.

Luckily for us Google have done an excellent job of making most tasks on Android as simple as possible, and importing your contacts from your SIM card is one of the most simple, when you know how!

How to import contacts from SIM Chinese Phone: Android
To import your contacts from your SIM on a Chinese phone (or any phone or tablet) running Android follow these steps.
- Insert your SIM card.
- Now from your home screen head in to the Contacts app and press the Menu button.
- From the Menu there will be a list of options one of them being Import/Export.
- Tap on Import from SIM card.
- Your SIM card contacts will now be saved in to to your phone’s memory
- Done!
