Beidou have been doing a fantastic job of whipping everyone up in to a frenzy over there dual and quad-core Little Pepper Phones, and finally we have video and a place to buy one thanks to Gizchina reader leandro!
leandro has done the impossible and has managed to track down a store who is claiming to sell the little pepper, has photos and hands on video! HOWEVER they want a little more than the recommend retail price Beidou are asking for!
Beidou, the e-commerce site who brought the Little Pepper Android phones to life are advertising the dual core, dual sim, 5 mega-pixel version of the Little Pepper for a super low 699Yuan ($110) which is quite a bit cheaper than the $169 this store is advertising them for!
Gizchina News of the week
As far as we can see there is no listing for the faster and larger quad-core Beidou Little Pepper which should be on sale for 999 Yuan.
The photos below were taken from this Chinese website while the rather annoying video comes from the store selling the Little Pepper, or as they have translated it the “small chilli”.
Thanks again leandro
I couldn’t watch the videos yet because I’m on a super-slow satellite internet (living on a small island). Could anyone tell me whether it looked like there were English language options?
Looking forward to someone selling at RRP!
Kind of a related question Andi – I fly through Singapore in a few weeks. Do you (or any helpful readers) know if these sort of Chinese phones hit the retail sector there?
