there is another video of this guy at youku.com but this time he used the G3 to pound nails into a block of wood similar to oppo torture test, can’t wait for my pre-ordered G3

I think this is the only sample (mockup?) available. As only now MTK got enough wafers to produce 6577 – so maybe in October you will get your G3.

Last month I placed order on ttmalls; as the launch was delayed, I asked them to cancel my order, which they did and promptly credited the amount back to my PayPal account.
Given this, I have good impression on them.
Nonetheless, Simon might be talking about preordering on JiaYu official website.

gorilla glass is great. and the phone is a beauty too. but i got too tired of waiting for this to launch and bought another phone 🙂
people at jiayu need to learn a couple of things. if they want to do well in the business. cant imagine that noone remembered to renew the licence. not a good sign at all. gives a negative impression about the company. anyway i m still follwoing the news 🙂
so it can crack the walnuts. (so can any phone with gorilla glass). but how does it perform? the firmware & software? hope there would be a detailed video review soon.

This is getting seriously annoying, good luck to people who pre ordered but I am the kind to buy new devices a bit later so as see reviews if the product is good or not and to not encounter initial bugs upon launch but the chinese mobile phone market situation is driving me nuts, cant get xiaomi mi2 right away cant get xiaomi mi1s right away and jiayu wanna release this next year

It’s surely the Gorilla Glass comes in the phone ? I read that the Gorilla Glass and the IPS (I think, “retina screen”) doesn’t come in the phone because they can sell it cheaper…
Does someone know something in the matter?

hi steven. no its not a chinese phone. chinese phones seem to improve rapidly. but kind of difficult to get it when u need it. i had my eyes on jiayu g3 and the bluebo l100 hd, but neither is available yet. so i settled for some better known branded phone off ebay 🙂

This seems to be the price so far and the other guy who was earlier selling for 185.99USD (with 2 batteries and and the protective case) has increased his price to 199.99 USD.

It does not mater who you order it from you will not get one for at least a month I ordered mine on Sept 11th from UreDeal Ali-express store I did an instant message yesterday and asked when I would get the G3 the reply is that they do not have it in stock even though their web-site http://www.uredeal.com says that they have it in stock. I asked when they had a delivery and yesterday they received 11 G3’s but went to other customers who pre-ordered in August. They tell me that there is at least 50 people in the queue before they get to my order at 11 phones per week that means my phone will not be delivered to UreDeal for at east another 4 weeks.
If you need a phone quickly pick another brand and you might get it before Xmas
