While we are all pretty sure of what the new iPhone 5 is going to look like there are still a few mysterious which surround Apples latest phone.
So we have already discussed 5 things we know about the iPhone 5, but what about the details we don’t know, details such as:
What will the new iPhone 5 be called
While we have all been calling Apple’s forthcoming phone the iPhone 5 we actually don’t know what the new iPhone will be called.
iPhone 5 might seem like the most logical name for the next iPhone but actually it’s not! The next iPhone is the 6th generation iPhone (iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S) so iPhone 6 makes more sense, but that would just confuse people!
So the likely name for the new iPhone will be just that ‘New iPhone’ just as the iPad 3 is called the ‘New iPad’.
Then again it could be the iPhone 5!
We don’t know if the new iPhone 5 will have NFC
I personally don’t think the newiPhone 5 will have NFC as it kind of makes Apple Passbook redundant, but there are mixed messages over NFC and the latest iPhone.
While we have photos suggestion the new iPhone 5 will have NFC, my gut feeling and the latest reports say otherwise.
Gizchina News of the week
Will the iPhone 5 have 4G LTE
Honestly speaking I believe the new iPhone will have 4G enabled. It would make no sense for it not to be as the current New iPad even has 4G LTE!
That said though we don’t know for sure, and will have to wait until tomorrow to find out.
Is the new iPhone 5 dual-core or quad-core
While I have a gut feeling about some of the features the iPhone 5 will have whether or not it will be dual-core and quad-core really stumps me.
We have seen photos of what is calimed to be a quad-core version of the new iPhone, but then again there have been leaks of a dual-core iPhone 5! Will the iPhone 5 have an Apple A6 or an Apple A5x?
The new iPhone 5 camera
Of all the rumors and speculation the iPhone 5’s camera is the one component which we know least about, yet are likely to use the most!
Most high-end Android phones are currently using super advanced 8 mega-pixel rear cameras, which could be the route Apple have chosen for the iPhone 5, although there is the small glimmer of hope the new iPhone will feature whopping 12 mega-pixel unit!
What do you guys think? Is there anything else we don’t know about the iPhone 5? Do you think the new iPhone will beat the current crop of Android Jelly Bean phones?
