I think it’s easy to say that Chinese phone companies have easily caught up with western manufacturers and are now even surpassing them, but what about Chinese tablets? Well I think I have found the best looking 7 inch Android tablet ever made and it’s from China!

China’s Rainbow Six Technology has recently revealed their all new 7 inch Android tablet, and it really is a beauty! Not only does this tablet look fantastic, think Oppo Finder only as a 7 inchtablet (yes that’s how good it looks) but the Rainbow Sixtablet also has a great screen and features a dual core CPU!

The 7 inchscreen on this super thin Chinesetablet boasts a resolution of 1280 x 800, couple that with IPS technology and you have the makings of a mighty fine display, perfect for gaming, browsing the web and watching videos.

Speaking of video the rainbow six Android tablet supports 1080P video playback! It also features built-in 3G GPS, Wi-Fi, rear 5 mega-pixel camera with auto-focus and a front camera for video calls.

Running the show is MediaTek’s super popular dual-core MTK MT6577 CPU. We’re not sure what speed the CPU is running at or how much RAM it is packing either but it really doesn’t matter because look at this thing!

Just from the photos of the Rainbow Sixtablet alone I’m so excited about this 7 inch 3G device that it’s going on my ‘must have’ list along with the Oppo Find 5!

It is surely a handsome phablet. However, the sad issue with this phablet is that it will take 6 month for us to be able to purchase this beauty — if it ever gets to production…

Big question to, how well will the firmware be…
Plus yes it is pretty but still dual core, what price point will it be, sure we do not know that yet.
But the chinese tablets are getting there.

My experience with some Chinese tablet manufacturers was that they may have great hardware specs but their firmware is spotty. Upgrades were also a problem. No help either from the their English website if they even have one. Only was able to get the firmware cleaned up with the help of a ROM cooker/developer from the US. He took a look and said that it was pretty messy.

There is no enforcement of IPR (where even such laws indeed exist) in Mainland China. Especially in regards to the copying of non-mainland Chinese companies’ technology.. This is a fact supported by tons of evidence – research it. Such products like this demonstrate this.
