BBK’s Quad-core X1 to become world’s thinnest Android phone!

Chinese phone company BBK are getting set to grab the title for producing the world’s thinnest Android smart phone with their latest ultrathin, quad-core Vivo X1!

The current title holder for world’s thinnest Android phone is the Oppo Finder which measures in a wafer thin 6.65mm, however the year old dual-core Oppo looks set to lose its record-breaking title to a new Chinese phone from BBK!

Chinese brand BBK are planning to launch an all new phone name the BBK X1, and not only will it be the world’s thinnest phone, but it could also be one of the more powerful Android phones on the market when launched!

Believe it of not but BBK’s designers and engineers have managed to design the BBK X1 to measure just 6.3mm at it’s thinnest, tapering to an equally thin 6.55mm at it’s thickest! If that isn’t enough to wow you then that fact the X1 is going to be fitted with a quad-core CPU might be enough to grab your attention!

It hasn’t been confirmed which chip manufacturer BBK are planning to use, either Mediatek’s quad-core MT6588 or Nvida’s Tegra 3 quad-core are likely candidates but we do know the processor will be clocked at a rather potent 1.5ghz!

BBK have also let slip that their new quad-core BBK X1 will feature a 4.7 inch screen with a resolution of 1280 × 720, a rear 8 mega-pixel camera and a front 2 mega-pixel camera. Most impressive of all though is the fact the X1 is rumoured to have a 2000mAh battery!

    2000 mAH in a 6.3mm phone…
That sound TOO good to be true

Very nice phone indeed. But, to be bonest, I’m starting to feel no excitement about chinese plannings, projects, “launches later this year or more probably at the beginning of 2013, or perhaps in 2025……”.
This strategy of grabbing buyers’ attention one or two years ahead of launching is becoming a bit boring and dull.

Again Andi sounds good but if you or the company would point out if it worked on USA 3g frequencies then it would make a world of difference for potential customers in the states

Like say Metty… is very good to be true.. maybe in a year, but in the short lapse I don’t think so

The problem OS that there is way to much “rumor” here and zero credibility.

Let’s see the phone. There are 100 ways it could be terrible. Is it fragile? Does the interface suck?

Enough with the pre-release hype. Show us the product.

I want a phone with lots of juice. 3500mah. everything working. decent camera. 8 mp is ok. 4.5 to 5.5 inch. mtk 6575 or 6577 will do. 1 gb ram. able to move apps to sd card. at least 960×540 screen.

forget about the 1600mah or 2000mah battery. with data and phone working thru out the day. it will be out of juice by mid day. comes with full leather cover accessories . not like the original s3 or note cover, camera get scratch. or at least a tpu cover as standard in the box.
