Chinesephone company BBK are getting set to grab the title for producing the world’s thinnest Android smart phone with their latest ultrathin, quad-core Vivo X1!
The current title holder for world’s thinnest Android phone is the Oppo Finder which measures in a wafer thin 6.65mm, however the year old dual-core Oppo looks set to lose its record-breaking title to a newChinesephone from BBK!
Chinese brand BBK are planning to launch an all newphone name the BBK X1, and not only will it be the world’s thinnest phone, but it could also be one of the more powerful Android phones on the market when launched!
Believe it of not but BBK’s designers and engineers have managed to design the BBKX1 to measure just 6.3mm at it’s thinnest, tapering to an equally thin 6.55mm at it’s thickest! If that isn’t enough to wow you then that fact the X1 is going to be fitted with a quad-core CPU might be enough to grab your attention!
It hasn’t been confirmed which chip manufacturer BBK are planning to use, either Mediatek’s quad-core MT6588 or Nvida’s Tegra 3 quad-core are likely candidates but we do know the processor will be clocked at a rather potent 1.5ghz!
BBK have also let slip that their newquad-coreBBKX1 will feature a 4.7 inch screen with a resolution of 1280 × 720, a rear 8 mega-pixel camera and a front 2 mega-pixel camera. Most impressive of all though is the fact the X1 is rumoured to have a 2000mAh battery!
2000 mAH in a 6.3mm phone…
That sound TOO good to be true
