If they ever launch and are available in so that everyone can buy them rather than preorder or whoever manages to get one first.
The thing with the Iphone is that Apple kinda makes it easy to get one too.

    Hi Andi
Can I request a blog about the best Chinese phones CURRENTLY Available? It might be something you update every month.

I like what you are doing with upcoming tech, but the fact is that there is always something newer, faster, better around the corner. Like many people, I need to buy a phone now (old iPhone died and iPhone 5 really doesn’t impress me). So I’ve been following your blog for about two months and I keep learning about the next hot thing but never about the hottest thing I can buy right now…

    Thanks
    Simon

Really keen for the M2 – as MIUI is such a great ROM.
Wondering if it will work on LTE though.

@Simon. Couldn’t agree more – perhaps there should be separate sections for goods that are available (with proper reviews and where-to-buy guides) and for up-and-coming shiny.

You know what would I love andy? a comparison of these chinese smartphones against some mid range smartphone, particularly those using novathor U8500: xperia P, galaxy S advance, I’m sure the MT 6775 can stand agains them, and costing almost half the price!

I will buy a phone when I am on business trip in china. Now I have heart there are maybe problems with the Androis update for other languages. Moreover the google app store is not supported by the phone, only a chinese store. Is this right?

It is really amazing to know how people curiosity for a new phone can be exploited by traders. From ur note i see the price of oppo Find5 to b in the range
od 450to500$. I saw the price from a online trader for the same at 1000$.
Can the manufacturer ensure that before they release the phonr, they
have enough of inventory with them

I’ve found 2 types of Oppo Find 5. Can anyone tell me, which is the _real_ one: the rounded or the other one?

    • October 22, 2012

I guess the ones we have seen are just mock ups or prototypes, however if Oppo follow their current style I’d guess the straight edge one.

Thank you! I liked the rounded one, but I will very satisfied if I’ll get one. 😉
