ZoPhone iPhone 5 Clone boasts dual-core CPU and Google Maps!

Chinese iPhone 5 clone makers have waisted no time manufacturing and launching some sweet looking knock-off of the latest Apple phone. The ZoPhone iPhone 5 clone is the latest in what I imagine to be a long line of Android based iPhone 5 wannabe’s which features great apps like Google Maps :p

Hot on the heals of other Android based iPhone 5 clones such as the GooPhone i5, Hero H2000+ and this still unnamed clone, Chinesephone maker ZoPhone has launched replica iPhone 5.

Like many of the iPhone 5 clones which have surfaced over the past few weeks, the ZoPhone actually looks like a great phone in its own right thanks to a solid specification of proven parts.

On paper the ZoPhone specification looks like it could rival the popular JiaYu G3, and manages to match the genuine iPhone 5 in some respects such as the 4 inch screen which features a resolution of 1136 x 640 and 326ppi!

Under the iPhone 5 ‘inspired’ body the ZoPhone is equipped with a MediaTek MT6577 dual-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz, there is also 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM and a micro SD card slot to boost storage capacity.

ZoPhone have opted for an 8 mega-pixel rear camera on their iPhone 5 clone which I’m sure is good but judging by the price won’t be on par with other Chinese phones such as the Xiaomi M2 for image capture.

Speaking of price ZoPhone have announced their iPhone 5 wannabe and GooPhone i5 competitor will go on sale for a rather reasonable price of just 1099 Yuan ($174) which is likely attract a lot of attention.

The best part of the ZoPhone and other similar Android based iPhone 5 clones though is the fact you get to benefit from all the genuine iPhone 5 cases thanks to the ultra thin 7.5mm body and you don’t have to put up with the terrible maps application in iOS 6! and can actually find where you want to go with Google maps on Android.

So far all we have seen have been mock ups for the last few weeks of what might be . And nothing of reality.
China will start to loose its edge if they keep this up for much longer.
Anyone can do a mock up images.
But only talented folk can build tangible items.
Don’t you think !!
Or am I just being a little too thingo here ^-^

I agree with you Mannaoz ^
However, looking at it from the manufacturer’s point of view, apparently there’s low stock of MTK6577 chips, and also the designers have to revamp a little on how to fit everything together into such a slim body.
TBH, I’m pretty keen to get a clone myself, preferrably the GooPhone I5 that has the Tegra 3 processor.
However, if you want one now, I looked up fastcardtech.com and they seem to have some clones such as Hero h2000 and GooPhone in their MTK6577 section, ready to ship.
Can’t wait for when all the quad-core Chinese phones come out – especially Xiaomi M2 and Oppo Find 5!!

  Problem is all the Iphone 5 clones available at fastcardtech.com or anywhere else for that matter have 512mg ram only.
  there is nothing with 1gb ram….

At least Iphone is real and the will respect the date of delivery. It is one month now that i waiting to buy a phone in china but all the interresting one are delay, delay and delay!!!!!!

@how_1 Don’t believe what you read on the websites of these companies. I have tried over the past few weeks to buy a phone but in every instance, when the website says they are in stock ready for delivery, talking to the support line reveals that they have no stock in, and are waiting sometimes a week, sometimes longer. I go back in a week, ask the same question and get the same answer.
They will do anything to get an order then leave you hanging until the item arrives (if it ever does). There are plenty of websites advertising phones that aren’t even launched yet! I really don’t understand why they bother as it just makes them look dishonest.

I agree @Arnold, it is getting a bit confusing. On FastCardTech it says item is in stock when it’s really not, so I don’t know what/who to believe. I might have to sadly purchase a phone here in the USA through a prepaid company. They are releasing the Samsung Galaxy S3 to prepaid here in the USA, and the iphone 5 to prepaid for around $399 and $499 on September 28th off contract, which is only $100 more than the replica iphones in China.
If I could find an honest seller I’d purchase a phone, but there are to many lies, delays,etc
@How_1, GizBeat has released some news about mtk6588 phones coming out as early as next month!

hi im in uk here i have bought 3 clone phones thro DHgate 2 never turned up the1 that did,(luckily i was with Paypal got refunded the loss) did not do any of the things it was suppose to, most of the things were in chinese, even tho the language was set to English,it wont upadate to anything, so really all i got was a clone that only done phone calls,can you tell me were i can find an honest seller please being 62 yrs i cant afford these genuine iphone 5, but would love too get one that does wot it is suppose to to do thank you for any help.
