While it has been quite easy for Chinese phone makers to innovate and bring their own phone designs to market, there is little you can do to a tablet to make it different or unique, so Chinese brand FuWote have done the only sensible thing they could think of and have made a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1clone.
The Fuwote 10.1 uses the popular Rockships RK2918 CPU which is available in speeds of up to 1.2Ghz and is a very capable processor and especially well suited to decoding H.264, RealVideo, WMV, AVS, H.264, and MPEG4 video at resolutions up to 1080p, however if 1080 is capable on the FuWote’s 10.1 inch screen is possible we don’t know.
Gizchina News of the week
This Chinese made Samsung Galaxy10.1 Note clone get’s the same size 10.1 inch multi-touch display as the Korean tablet with a resolution of 1024 x 600 and also runs Android 4.0 Ice-cream Sandwich out of the box.
Dual-camera come as standard on the 11mm thick Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1clone with the rear being a low-cost 2 mega-pixel unit and the front a very poor 0.3 mega-pixel snapper.
Options of either 512mb-1GB DDR3 RAM, 4GB-8GB of built-in storage are available too but all models get a large 5200mAh battery which is claimed to giver you 5 hours of continued use over Wi-Fi and 3 hours of browsing the web with 3G enabled.
Judging by the specifications the FuWote 10.1 is going to be a rather low-cost tablet, however we don’t imagine to see many on sale branded with the manufacturer’s name as the factory are offering them as OEM models only.
