Are you looking for a phone which looks like an upmarket, thinner JiaYu G3 but with a lower specification, smaller battery and higher price? No of course you’re not which is a shame as the Yitong T910 Eton is one great looking Chinese phone.
Costing 1599 Yuan ($252) and equipped with a 4.5 inch screen (960 X 540) and a battery of just 1700mAh the Yitong T910 is nearly double the cost but with a lower worse screen and smaller battery than the JiaYu G3 which is a shame as for the design it’s a great looking phone.
It seems Chinese phone designs have really found their style now and are going for much angular designs when compared to foreign brands, which is evident here with the T910 and also with the boxy JiaYu G3. The Chinese media say that these designs are much more manly than the swooping lines of phones like the S3 or Xiaomi M2, but personally I’m not a fan.
The rest of the specification for the YiTong T910 reads much like similar dual-core MT6577 phones available today, meaning a 1GHz XPU, 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM and an 8 mega-pixel rear camera. The T910 also supports dual-sim and will work on China Unicom’s WCDMA / GSM networks.
You say “”The rest of the specification for the YiTong T910 reads much like similar dual-core MT6577 phones available today, meaning a 1GHz XPU””
but it’s 1Ghz CPU.
😉
don’t be petty…
@Yeow: it’s a typo, not worth mentioning.
Design looks nice, but that’s all I can say before someone get it in his hands.
Looks great, but indead misses specs.
