Onda are well renowned in China, and across the world for their low-cost Android tablets with great design and outstanding performance, and their latest table the Onda V811 carries on this tradition.
The Onda V811tablet has just gone on sale in China and Chinese tech sites are getting their first hands on with the new 8 incher and the overall conclusion is job well don for Onda again!
Priced at around $140 most people will be looking at picking up the Onda V811 as a cheap tablet they can throw in their bag and take with them for use while commuting to work, relaxing or the odd bit of gaming during your lunch break, however after a quick look at the specs you will soon see this little tablet is quite a capable unit.
The screen for a start is an 8 inch 5 point multi-touch unit with a resolution of 1024 x 768 which at this price point isn’t to shabby, then there is the dual-core 1.5Ghz CPU and 1GB RAM which is capable of running most games and applications without breaking in to a sweat!
It also appears Onda have put a lot of thought in to the design of the Onda V811 as they have made the body extremely thin at the edges to aid comfort and grip, without sacrificing the numerous plugs and ports we have come to expect Android tablets to ship with, in this case micro USB, micro SD card reader, HDMI out and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Speaking of Android Onda have loaded Android 4.0.3 on the V811 as standard which supports Google Play so you will have no problem downloading apps and games with your Google Play account.
If you are wondering about performance then don’t worry too much about the Onda V811 as thanks to the dual-core 1.5Ghz CPU and 1GB RAM this 8 inchtablet manages and impressive 6574 on Antutu and a 3299 Quadrant score!
Overall if you’re looking for a low-cost tablet with high performance and a great design you would be hard pushed to beat the Onda V811!
