Xiaomi M2 pre-orders to begin 13th October?

Rumours are circulating that the next generation Xiaomi M2 with it’s Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU will be available for pre-order on the 13th October with the phone going on sale on the 18th.

The Xiaomi M2 is the new flagship phone from Chinesephone maker Xiaomi, and judging for the reviews and comparisions of this high perfomance quad-core phone it is going to be one hot selling phone!

The Xiaomi M2 has already be seen to be more powerful than Samsung’s Galaxy S3, has a rear camera on par with the iPhone 5 yet this amazing Chinese smartphone will only cost 1999 Yuan ($317) when it goes on sale later this month.

Like many Chinesephone companies, Xiaomi are opting for the (rather irritating) pre-sale method of selling their new phone, with the pre-orders rumoured to begin as soon as the 13th October and is expected to arrive with Chinese customers on the 18th October!

Both the 16GB and the newly announced 32Gb models will be available however there is no word on how much extra the 32GB model will cost.

I am sick and tired of this BS. why won’t they stop this pre-order BS and just throw it on sale… so that everyone can buy… T___T … i just can’t wait anymore…

  Totally agree! If the M2 was out in shops on the 13th I would line up and buy it, Im not messing around with pre-ordering though! I like to know that I have got what I have paid for.

    Yeah, this whole thing is turning out to be a circus act. I am trying to figure out if the presale is on xiaomi’s own website or some third party site…
    I have my brother in Kuala lumpur so i was hoping if he can get his chinese malaysian friend to book on xiaomi’s chinese site (o_O hoping he knows mandarin… 🙁 ) and get it shipped to my brother’s other friend’s address in hong kong, so his frequent flying friend can collect if from HK and bring it to him in KL from where he is coming in december to india hence giving the phone to ME… The amount of ridiculous shit i am willing to go through for this phone… 🙁
    The other option was getting it shipped to KL through Fastcard tech, but i find their entry for M2 a bit shady … i mean their preorder list as an option of choosing various microSDHC cards for a phone which doesn’t even support external memory… are they trustworthy…??? T___T

My biggest problem is that they don’t accept payments over 350$ D: and on fastcardtech and aliexpress it costs more than 350$ … is there any information about release date of Amoi Neptune v5 or Small Chili quad? Strangely about the neptune there are near to 0 informations …

Damn! My smartphone died on me 2 weeks ago and I really need to buy a new one VERY soon…
I am sooooo tempted to buy the MX Quadcore (RE) on Meizu website but it’s more expensive than the Mi2…which is supposedly much better.
But then, if I do wait 2 more weeks for the Mi2, still no guarantee at all that I’ll be able to get one because of their stupid online flash pre-sale idea.
Does anyone here actually own the MX quadcore? Is that a safe buy?
Or might I be disapointed? I read the screen resolution isn’t that great…

  I would suggest if you have been holding on to your horse till october … then just hold on till December… least the picture will be much clear by then.. Probably Oppo find 5 will hit the markets… guess they dont do this pre-sale shit. 🙂

Glad to find here one of the few website with info about this phone…
I live in Shenzhen and I’ve been waiting to buy a new phone for more than 2 months now and the only reason I didn’t buy a S3 was because I discovered all those cheap Chinese phone and I’ve to say I’m really curious.
For 1999 RMB I’m willing to take my chance, so pre-sale or not, I just want to have it as soon as possible. But I’m scared that the minute it’s out it will be out of stock and that I’ll have to wait several weeks to get my hands on it… For the 1S, despite the fact that they sold it not so long before the M2, they sold hundred of thousands of phone over 15 minutes…
So I was wondering if you had any idea of the best way to have a chance to pre-order it, or if you know some (trustworthy and not too greedy) retailers that might be able to sale it. I’ve seen a website where they proposed to pre-order already, but it was for twice the actual price…

So sale should start in 5 hours? 10am China time… at least last month the sale of the m1s was open from 10am to 12am China time.
