Update: probably not! JiaYu G3 now in stock at resellers and online stores?

Thousands of happy customers have finally been receiving their long-awaited JiaYu G3’s this weekend with customers of both the silver and black models finally getting their super popular dual-core phone! And now resellers and onlinestores are claiming to have stock!

The JiaYu G3 has been the source of lots of news both negative and positive, but it seems the Chinesephone brand has finally worked out all the bugs and are getting up to speed shipping the phones to customers in China, I have also received word that some dropship and Chinese resellers are beginning to receive stock too!

One such reseller is achinaseller.com (link removed as it seems they are not trustworthy! See comments) who claim they have stock of the JiaYu G3 and are ready to ship the phone internationally now! Just be aware though that I have never dealt with this but have heard from “Jack” who says they have stock. Have any of you dealt with achinaseller? Are they trustworthy?

While achinaseller claim they have stock other stores I have spoken to either avoided the question or told me that they still don’t have the G3 available.

Have any of you guys successfully bought a JiaYu G3? And if so who do you recommend?

I never bought from this seller and I doubt about it because they claim to have stock on Oppo Finder 5 that’s seems to be impossible… :o/

Also noticed that they say the price of the phone is going up after Oct. 25th to a whooping $280. Seems suspect to be honest.

he say they have a stock, then
i ask he to take photo of jiayu with today newspaper, but after that
he say the last product already sold, and dont have time to take photo.

Achinaseller is a real scam. Don’t trust them. Their website and customer support r very suspicious. They lie a lot to get customers n then u end up waiting forever or even if ur product arrives, theres a problem with it. I prefer ugoodbuy from aliexpress. Impressive customer support and they stick to their word. Can’t wait to get mine soon =D

  BTW Andi, I think you should stop waiting for Jiayu to tell you when to pay. If it’s true that some resellers have stock, order from them then coz it might take forever if you wait for Jiayu to message u..

I don’t know what to say about this site, because when I browse “customers” questions about the Jiayu G3, I see post from July 7th 2012 asking if the phone is in stock, and their reply was “No, this is for a preorder”, so that seems very honest to me, and not leading people on. They are also accepting paypal, moneybookers, and credit cards, usually scam companies only accept western union, or bank transfer, so they seem legit to me.
Here’s where i get skeptical, they list the OPPO Finder 5 as being in stock when asked, so do they really have that phone, are they stolen, did they manage to sneak some out?????
Idk man, you’re 50/50 with this company.

I did some research on this company. Basically if you want to find out which companies are legit/scammers, just type in their name then put scam in the google/yahoo search, for example “achinaseller scam”, and if they are a scam company, you should see customer reviews about them. I came across a site, and the reviews are NOT good:

I bought g3 from achinaseller in august….. still waiting…… i think i have lost money -_-

achinaseller is scam. I ordered the Jiayu G3 as he told me it is in stock. When I got no reply after payment I made several emails but only after I told Jack from achinaseller that I informed Western Union about fraud (I really did and send him copy of the conversation with Western Union) he said he does not have the phone at the moment but he can send another (an S3 clone). As I realized that I have no chance to get my money back I told him to send the S3 clone which I will sell here in Germany and maybe i will lose only 20-30 USD.

  They are a hit and miss. There are a dozen poor reviews on facebook. They are horrible at communicating. They didn’t even bother sending out the tracking details until it reached my country. It wasn’t until I threatend to dispute the charges with Paypal they started to respond to my messages.

Jiayu factory Maximum capability producing phones is 10,000 per week only (If no issues).
we have some millions of customers eagerly waiting. I think at least 3Months had to wait for resellers to have stock in stores.
As we are all aware that popular phones like Xiaomi are sold millions of quantity in just 30Minutes after open in their website.
Jiayu G3 is most popular phone (HOT)
so we (International) customers have to wait.

  i received a mail from them 2 days ago claiming that the address i’ve given is not my paypal verified address, and i’ll need to confirm it’s the one i wanna have it sent to. i replied, but no follow up since then. they claimed to have it on stock 10 days ago (it’s now obviius that they didn’t), and i hope that their mail was the first sign of the phone aproaching my hands….

I got my G3 on 12. October from Tmallbox.com. They had it on stock at 5. October. Now, maybe they got more pieces.. Tom or Justin in Live Chat will answer you, if real in stock or not.

    I bought it in pre-order in Pandawll. (DinoDirect don’t have pre-order but wil sell it when have a regular stock from JiaYu). Have free-shipping (with tracking-code to all the world) or can choose for express shipping. In my community (of Hispanic people) we always buy there without problems.

I am a seller from China.I want to give you some infos about Jiayu G3.
For the Jiayu G3.It is 4.5”with 1280×720 resolution, MT6577 CPU, 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM, 8MP back camera. Price is only899CNY(142USD). The price makes it good for customers and they seem like it. But Jiayu started to give sad news in July. They announced the sale date:5th Sep.
Actually 5th Sep is not the shipping date.They just recorded how many people would buy it.People who take preorders, haven’t order from Jiayu.They are waiting for Jiayu official’s news for date of paying.
Jiayu announced that they will ship 5000pcs of G3 for the first batch.But it’s only for China.You know,there are so many Chinese want it.(As I know, they only informed 2000 people to pay the order until 9th OCT. They just informed people to pay.Some of people are still waiting for the parcel.)Here you can see from the Official Jiayu Website:
It says, they almost have finished 2000 orders of Black G3,the last order is at 12:30 pm is on 5th Sep. The customer who took the order before 12:30 pm need pay it asap.
The moderator “Wade” made post Jiayu will start to the orders of the second batch:10000pcs.But until now there is still no news. They even haven’t shipped all the 5000pcs for the first batch.
Jiayu will just sell G3 by themselves on its own Website as so far.They won’t give to their agents.I am not sure if they have agents now.It’s a New Brand here in Shenzhen.In my opinion, Jiayu doesn’t want to earn much money now.They just want to make their brand more famous and more famous.That’s why it sells G3 at a so cheap price.If you want to deal it or try to buy one for yourself.,I am afraid you have to wait until there is no Chinese buy it anymore.You know,China has a huge population.You might wait 2 months,3months,……or more.
So if you want to deal it.I suggest you stop this plan now.Or it will make you wait and wait.Then lose the interesting.
This is just my tips about Jiayu G3’s stock situation,I don’t criticize anything.

I emailed mixeshop asking if they had any stock, they emailed back saying it is and the price will be going up soon. Wasnt sble to find much on the reseller, hopefully i didnt get scammed when i decided to place an order.

Dear Andy, are you censoring me here?
I’ve sent you a hint via the contact form and I posted a comment here yesterday, telling you that my seller (which I named for completeness, not for advertisement – others have named their sellers too) has already sent my Jiayu G3 on its way. I did not receive any response, nor was my comment published.
Im checking the EMS tracking regularly, according to the log, the parcel has left China and should be here soon.

Hi I sent a message to AliExpress store UreDeal and asked them when I will get my phone and the reply was that they expect stock from 30th October and that they will fill orders oldest order first, I was the first person to order from them. I also checked a few other AliExpress stores and found at least 2 others stating that they expect stock around 30th October
