Xiaomi made headlines yesterday with the amazing news that they managed to sell 50,000 quad-core Xiaomi M2 phones in under 3 minutes! However sources close to the Beijing brand are suggesting that Xiaomi are now having supply issues which might upset further Xiaomi M2 releases!
Xiaomi are a unique company. They have their own way of marketing, selling and component sourcing which has enabled the small company to grow in to one of the most sort after phone makers in the world in less than 2 years!
Xiaomi phone’s sell out minutes after launch, their fan base is growing and they have been valued at over a Billion $! But it looks like recent tension between Japan and China might caused problems for the sibling company which could in turn delay M2 production!

It seems with the recent problems between Japan and China, many factories have either had to slow production or stop production all together as orders have dried up! This is bad news for Xiaomi who are relying on components from Sony and other Japanese brands to produce the eagerly anticipated Xiaomi M2!
Our source has gone on to mention that Xiaomi employees are working around the clock to get the issue resolved and component supplies back up to speed again. I wonder if this will affect the next Xiaomi M2 pre-sale round in November?
