The ‘Big Cola’ 5 inch dual-core phone costs just $160 comes with choice of OS

The Big Cola has some great features such as a dual-core CPU, large screen, low-cost and even a choice of either Android OS or Baidu’s Le Frog OS (based on Android), however is this phone a super bargain or is it not quite there?

I’m stuck as to if I should get excited with the Big Cola! Although it does offer a 5 inch screen, dual-core MT6577 CPU, 1GB RAM and a large 2450 battery there are a few details which have me second guessing this phone.

The first is the 5 inch display which has a resolution of 960 x 540. It really is difficult to expect a higher resolution screen at this price, but with so many 4.5 inch phones with 1280 x 720 screens (and with lower prices) It difficult to be ‘wowed’ by the Big Cola’s screen.

Another area I feel a little let down is with the rear 5 mega-pixel camera, which seems a little low-grade when compared to the 8 mega-pixel rear cameras which are the norm on most phones available today.

Perhaps I’m being a little harsh on the Big Cola (the name doesn’t help either) but I don’t feel all that impressed with the specs. What do you guy’s think?
