It’s a sad day for Meizu fans as the Zhuhai company announces the end of the M9, a phone which started the Android phone movement of the MP3 player come phone maker.
Meizu announced that they would be discontinuing the Meizu M9 today, something which came as a surprise to myself as I though the phone (and all its bug and overheating) was long gone already.
The M9 likely makes way for the new Meizu MX2 which will be unveiled in just 6 days and could mean that dual-core Meizu MX prices could drop to as little as 1699 Yuan (the price the M9 was selling at).

It was my first smartphone, i am still using it and i am quite happy with it. It’s not perfect but for the price it was a pretty good deal.
I understtand that they have to focus on their new models now, nobody wants any 2 years old smartphone anyway.
It’s impressive they kept it going for so long!
