Xiaomi currently have a few Android smartphones and a (non working) Xiaomi TV Android set-top box, but what they don’t have is a Xiaomi Tablet. Fortunatly 3rd party devs and companies have worked together to bring Xiaomi’s MIUIROM to tablets such as the Onda V971.
I personally believe that the launch of a Xiaomi tablet is inevitable, but unit that time we will have to make do with tablets such s the 9.7 inchOnda V971 running Xiaomi’s MIUIROM.
The Onda V971 is a dual-core 1.2GHz tablet with 1GB RAM and a 1024 x 728 resolution display and usually ships with Android 4.0.3, however you now have the choice to load up MIUI.
While I doubt that a Xiaomi tablet will run the same MIUIROM as it’s smart phone counterparts, it does give us a good idea of what a Xiaomi tablet would be like, and also proves that there is definitely a market their for a MIUI running tablet.
