Updated 1.6Ghz Quad-core Lenovo K860i Spotted

Lenovo’s first quad-core phone, the 1.4Ghz Lenovo K860, launched just a few months ago but a more powerful updated version of the phone known as the K860i has already been spotted.

The details of the updated Lenovo K860i come from China’s Ministry of Communication, where the phone has just received a network license making it available for sale across China.

What we have learned about the phone is that it will have a 5-inch display and a more powerful quad-core 1.6Ghz CPU which should give the phone just enough power to have it compete with rival phones such as the Oppo Find 5, ZTE Nubia Z5 and similar large screen phones.

Hopefully the phone will also receive further updates such as Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and possibly a 12-13 mega-pixel rear camera and more RAM.
