Owen V9 is a 5.7-inch 1280 x 720 oversize Galaxy Note 2 clone!

If you are the type of person who believes ‘bigger is better’ then you are going to love the new Owen V9 which is basically a monster version of every other Samsung Galaxy Note 2 clone currently available!

The Owen V9 takes it’s design and styling right of the pages of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 web-page, but rather going for a true 1:1 replica have replaced the screen with a much larger 5.7-inch unit.

While the exterior looks extremely similar to the Note 2, the rest of the phone is very much your standard Chinese dual-core phone. A Mediatek MT6577 CPU runs the large screen, and there is the standard 1GB RAM and 4GB ROM you find with almost every dual-core Chinese model.

However , what makes this larger phablet stand out from similar models is the resolution of the screen. While similar devices get low resolution units, the 5.7-inch screen on the V9 is a much better 1280 x 720 display!

Other nice features include dual-sim standby, 8 mega-pixel rear camera, and a 9.6mm body. unfortunately the battery hasn’t been oversized along with the screen, and we’re concerned that the 2250mAh unit included in the phone could struggle to last the day!
