If you want to buy a smartphone with Dual-Sim standby, a powerful dual-core MTK6577 processor, 1GB RAM and a 4.5-inch QHD IPS Panel you might feel you’re spoiled for choice, but after seeing this offer you might want to take a look at the Malata i8 for your first choice!
Malata is a phone targeted at the student market and as such boasts cloud storage which includes a host of free studying materials and eBooks. If you are learning English (like me), the software bundeled with the i8 may also help you with the integrated TOEFL and IELTS apps.
Gizchina News of the week
If your not studying but want to prevent yourself or your kids playing games then the Malata i8 features a great password and time schedule to prevent certain apps from being opened or being used when on a data connection.
As it is a “Learning” phone. You would not expect it got the most powerful spec however the Malata i8 does come with the aforementioned MTK6577 dual-core CPU, 1Gb RAM and 8MP main camera.
Now you can grab Malata i8 at an amazingly low price in 360Buy for 799 Yuan. The special offer date may end anytime after 1st Jan.
Wow people just do not hesitate from going to the top shelf with words. Really, the price was ‘amazing’? You were ‘amazed’ that a phone costs 799? Maybe watch some louis c.k. stand up to see what ‘amazing’ really means.
umm 799 is less than USD99 at most. Since many Chinese Android Phone with similar price only use lesser AOSP with no modification, this phone offers similar AOSP maybe with in-house built or in-bundle software as it mentioned. So it is pretty amazing, although I myself preferred the best English teacher of all time: Games and Fantasy Books such as Lord of the Ring and A Song of Fire and Ice.
I can’t find this item (or any smartphone) in the english site of 360buy – can you provide a link for international order?
360Buy would violate the terms of their sales & distribution agreements with manufacturers if they turned around and started selling their devices in other markets. Inside China, they are the #2 online retailer selling every major brand in any category you can think of. Outside China, what you see are the leftovers.
Has anyone found a store that ships it internationally. aliexpress has it for $209 which is waaay too much.
