The Umi X2 is shaping up to be one stonking phone, but it isn’t the only phone the Chinese phone maker has planned for 2013 as a leaked roadmaps shows at least 3 more phone are on the way.
As you would expect full details haven’t been disclosed yet, but designs of the upcoming phones have been leaked.
Umi X1s: Just as the Umi name and the styling of the original X1 took inspiration from Xiaomi’s line-up, Umi appear to be launching a slightly updated X1S (ala Xiaomi M1s). The X1s seems to be the same design as the current X1, but will receive an updated quad-core MT6589 Processor and possibly a boost in the camera department too
Umi X2: The Umi X2 has all the bells and whistles the Oppo Find 5 has, including quad-core CPU, 2GB RAM, 13 mega-pixel rear camera and 5-inch 1080 display.
Umi Mini: The Umi Mini is an odd device. The design shows it as being a very modern looking phone, and its name and overall dimensions suggest a rather compact phone (105mm x 51mm). But there are a few details which aren’t mine such as the thickness (25mm) and the battery at 5000mAh!!
Umi Max: It’s easy to guess that the Max is going to be the Umi equivalent of the Galaxy Note. No details of this phone have been offered but from the image here we can see it will come equipped with a stylus.
The Umi X1s and X2 are scheduled for release between now and March and the Mini and Max for around April-June. So what about the rest of the year?
