13 mega-pixel seems to be the standard for most flagship Android phones this year, but if rumours are true HTC might just say goodbye to mega-pixels and hello to ultra-pixels on the HTC M7.
According to various news reports, the main camera sensor in the HTC M7 won’t be made up of a tradition Bayer filter but instead use a stack of three 4.3 mega-pixel sensors to capture accurate colours and produce high-resolution and realistic photos.

my 36mp nikon d800 rocks your sony 2mp, so HA there.
Its not the mega-pixels. It the size of the pickup sensor and the quality of the glass in the lens. Camera phones will never replace a DSLR.
Smart phones are showing incredible development over time… so it cant be said will it replace DSLR or not…
