This is no the first time the terms 8-core and Huawei have appeared in the same sentence! Earlier this year Huawei CEO Richard Yu talked at CES about his companies up coming 8-core processor, which have led some to believe the flagship Ascend P2 could be the device to showcase the new chip.
Huawei have been going from strength to strength this year. They launched the 6.1-inch Ascend Mate and powerful D2 at CES last month and are working with Microsoft on Windows phones for Africa. An 8-coreAscend P2 launch at MWC would be another jewel in the Huawei crown!
