5-inch 1080, quad-core Koobee Max to launch March 22nd!

We’re not sure how reliable these details are, but if it does turn out that Koobee are to launch the 5-inch full HD Koobee Max on March 22nd they are likely to inherit a large number of potential UMi X2 customers.

Currently only iOcean have launched the youth version of the X7, a 1080p 5-inch phone running a MediaTek MT6589 quad-core chip. Now it appears that Koobee will be the second manufacturer to offer a full HD MTK phone.

Gizchina News of the week

Full details of the Koobee Max remain unconfirmed but what we o know from leaked renders is the phone will boats a 1920 x 1080 display, 13 mega-pixel rear camera, all wrapped up in a highly curved body.

koobee max launch date

We can also assume that the Max will be packing 1GB RAM rather than 2GB, but then again this is just speculation.

It looks rather chunky. The capacitive touch buttons should have been placed slightly farther from each other, and the bezel could have been shaved a bit more to be more JiaYu G4-esque, which looks amazing if you excuse the Iphone reference. Overall, it kind of looks like the Umi X1.

They actually looks the same give or take few mm for the bezel. Given that this is a chinese company, the one on here is probably closer to the truth.

Less mm on the bezel means alot for me my friend and if the phone will have the design like on the pictures that I’m providing, this KooBee will be one of the best looking chinesse phones Ever and actually doesn’t matter if it’s going to have 1GB RAM or 2GB RAM this phone looks awesome and I’ll buy it in Black for me, if its launch is earlier than the UMI X2, JIAYU G4, NEO N003 I’ll buy it (the KooBee) with No Doubt
