A new thread over on the JiaYu forums started by one of the senior moderators talks about the companies decisions on RAM and ROM choices while also hinting at a possible price for the Premium JiaYu G4.
Some forum users, and some Gizchina readers, have suggested that JiaYu should offer a 16GB ROM 2GB RAM version of the premium JiaYu G4, however JiaYu are saying the differences in price between a 16GB model and 32GB model will be negligible.
Gizchina News of the week
Based on this and the results of our poll plus JiaYu’s own poll, it appears only a 1GB RAM 4GB ROM Youth model and 2GB RAM and 32GB Premium model will be available. Interestingly the thread mentions the difference between the Youth and Premium version could be as little as 300 Yuan ($48) meaning a possible retail price of 1299 Yuan ($208) could be on the cards.

I came across that post last night and wanted to send it over to you guys at GizChina but I got sidetracked and forgot lol. Yeah, I read that too. I hope it’s true though. International sellers will usually mark up $60 to $100 and considering Jiayu is a hot selling brand, I’d say they’re gonna sell Jiayu G4 between $275 to $300. I bet some would even go higher.
ANDI! I WANNA BUY THROUGH YOU!!

+1 for buying from Andi
You can already preorder the Jiayu G4 for 250$ or less so it’s not going to be that expensive. It’s true that international sellers mark up the price but there’s also competition between them so you’ll be able to find good prices.
Marius, I’m sorry to be the one to break the news to u but those online resellers selling at $250 are only selling the Youth version of the Jiayu G4, not the Premium 2GB/32GB Jiayu G4. The only resellers I’ve found pre-selling the Premium Jiayu G4 is selling at $300 to $350. The cheapest I could find was $278 I think.. Websites like Pandawill is selling around $250 but I do not trust Pandawill. I would gladly pay $300 though if Andi can provide it to me.
Chinapadmall is selling advanced G4 at $250. They have youth version at $200.

Andi open your own e-store , all of us will prefer buy from you xD
On which site does Andi sell?
I don’t
Would be interesting to have you selling, or partnering with a reliable seller Andy.
Will you take it into consideration to perhaps pursue this with GizChina?
Any Launch date yet @andi??
Please update…!
I would be interested in being a UK reseller, but need a reliable supply chain
Please try to be one, i’m sure china phones would be a lot popular in Europe if it were easy to get your hands on!
Actually there are 2 Spanish resellers trying to make it through getting supply directly from china and selling them here. They have higher prices than buying them from China but you have european guarantee and service.
Any links so we can check them out?

How many hours will be that the battery will last this smartphone?
andishop.com sounds good
I stumbled upon gizchina.com when I was searching for info about this phone. After reading Andis rather promising comments about the phone I decided to order it.
I placed a preorder at merimobiles.com, which I heard is one of the more reliable china-electronics stores on the net. I haven’t ordered anything from the before so it remains to be seen. Pandawill was my other choice, but I’ve read mixed reviews about them.
Oh and I concur, you should sell the products you review. I’d feel much more confident in ordering it from someone who clearly gets what we westerners want from our phones.
Merimobiles are difficult to deal with in my experience. They will lie about stock and give you lame excuses on why the item can not be shipped.
Would not recommend them to my worst enemies.
