We’ve not been following the Samsung Galaxy S4 rumour roller coaster as closely as other sites, but even we are disappointed by the design of the new phone!
The Samsung Galaxy S4 launch is in full swing in New York, and there should be a lot of new and exciting developments from the Korean phone makers new flagship phone, it’s just a shame the design isn’t one of them!
Gizchina News of the week
The design of the new Samsung Galaxy S4 looks almost identical to the current S3, and isn’t a million miles away from the rumoured leaked photos of the dual-sim China Unicom S4 we posted a few days ago! We’ll keep our eyes and ears on the S4 launch and bring you anything news worthy as we get it.

It is very hard to re-invent the geometry.
A rectangle even with round corners will be always a rectangle.
But!
– if the rectangle have a bottom central rectangle button its name will be Samsung (or a Samsung clone)
– if the rectangle have a bottom central square button its name will be iPhone (or an Iphone clone)
– if the rectangle will have no button will be a new amazing designed smartphone which is, at least, not an iPhone or Samsung clone
So just depending of the shape bottom button, people will always say that every rectangle will be forever a Samsung or iPhone clone.
The new definition of the rectangle will be: a Samsung or iPhone form, but with sharp corners.
It’s very hard indeed, just look at HTC and its One, it also looks exactly like One X! Oh wait…
I sincerely hope you are trolling.
The HTC One even further proves his point.
The trend that looks good is: increased screen size, thinner bezels, and overall bulk staying the same or shrinking slightly.
Can’t believe they didn’t move that badly positioned power button.
I keep turning my S3 display off when I pick up the phone.
