Next month we should see Vivo unveil the all new flagship Vivo Xplay, but we don’t want to wait that long so here are some leaked spy photos of the Vivo Xplay in the flesh!
According to reports attached to these leaked photos the Vivo Xplay will feature a full 1080 HD 5.7-inch display, front facing 5 mega-pixel camera, 32GB ROM, NFC, Android 4.2 Jelly and Dolby Hi-Fi stereo all ran by a powerful quad-core Snapdragon 600 CPU and 2GB RAM!
Gizchina News of the week
The body is said to be an impressive 8mm thick and managed to contain a 3400mAh battery and house the 13 mega-pixel rear camera flush to the shiny alloy body.
We can wait to see the Vivo Xplay once it launches next month, we’ll bring you more updates as we get them!
At 5.7″ no wonder they can stuff 3400mAH battery at 8mm thin. Looks legit and crossed off my list for phone candidate.
Nooooo, can’t they make a smaller version (5 inch).
I love the design (big screen but small bezels) but the size is just to big.
Same here. 5.7″ it’s to big I would rather go the other way, 4.7″ and FHD. For this size they would better be using a much higher resolution in the range of 2560 (Sharp has some screens on the 6″ range on this resolution) and sell it as a tablet. As a phone does not have ANY advantage over a 4.7″ or 5: FHD, contrary. I also was thinking about it but on this size it’s a no.
Interestingly, it’s fairly well know that people tend to move up in screen size, not down. The current crop of 5″ 1080p phones have a “hand feel” similar to last years 4.3″ devices. I was looking forward to the new 5″ 1080p devices, but when they actually came out, they felt too SMALL for what I’ve become used too. It’s not that there’s anything wrong with a 5″ phone, but once you embrace the principle that you should get the biggest screen so your eyes can see more, it seems wasteful to go down in size.
It’s true that Sharp has a wonderful new 2560×1600 6.1″ IGZO display. And all their IGZO displays are designed for an ultra-thin bezel. So I suspect that when we do see some new phones using this display, they’ll have a “hand feel” similar to today’s Samsung Note I or II or LG’s new 5.5″ Optimus G Pro.
For those of you who like to make fun of other people and tease them for talking into a tablet, I just have one thing to say, “put a sock in it!” I really suspect that the majority of people that loudly claim, “IT’S TOO BIG FOR ME!!!!” haven’t spent a week using a Galaxy Note. Playing with a phone for 5 minutes in a store doesn’t count as using it. One of the great things about Android is that there are many vendors making phones, everybody can find a size they like. There’s no need for you to try to stop vendors from making the phones your friends want just because YOU don’t want one.
“I don’t feel them too small, therefore you should be me”
i love big screen upto 6″ and body upto 7″ fits fine in pocket so is there any chance of availability in india ?????????
Impressive! probobly the Oppo finder 5 and ZTE Nubia z5 killer
I really love the design, and material used for this one, i like the two rear and separated speakers, and the specifications are the best.
I will see Andi an versus whith this model and Lenovo k900 😉
What? People who are interested in using tablet as their phone has long gone buying Note II and wouldn’t be interested in “tiny” 5″ phone with high prices like those two.
Yes Vivo seems to be taking the path of Oppo and Nubia to distinguish themselves from the pack via innovative design.
I’m looking forward to what they come up with next!
I did doubt it was bezel-less!
5.7 is starting to get into the terriotory of uncomfortable, although the specs look top-notch. I personally am betting on a 5inch Mi3 without a bezel – like that digitizer we saw back ago that was supposed to be on the xplay.
