In the 5 minute video we get to see the quad-core MT6589 UMi X2 in action and get a good overall look at the phone and body. The video isn’t the best in the world and it quite shaky in parts, but this is unfortunately the best we can get until review units are launched

Yeah and UMI was explaining that this thick black line under the display will be removed once it is not a prototype but it is still there 😀 😀 😀 EPIC FAIL !!! They did not made well their calculations when they was putting the digitizer on the product line on the conveyor in their factory and now the display is not so long enough and this is not an software defect it is HARDWARE DEFECT !!!

Prefer the JIAYU G4 Flagship in 100000 times instead of this UMI X2. At least they was able to make it propper like Samsung did on their S3
Also you are able to see how many seconds this UMI X2 needs to fire it’s display when you press the LOCK/UNLOCK button (facepalm) so imagine how hard is for the MT6589 do wake this 1080p screen 😀 😀 😀

OK I saw my mistake and I’m sorry for that, the phone has incredibly fast boot :D, this is great I agree with you Akash. I did not paid attention to the beggining of the video, so it is booting very fast, but it need to be perfect and this thick line is ugly it is like shit on the screen. I hope at least the BLACK version will not be so noticable
Piece of Shyte, that little black line ?????? the one that on my umi x1 started as a small 2 mm dot that is now a 5 cm long and 1 cm wide sticky screen black line ? stay well away from this phone Jiyau all the way !!!

Is a shame that a brand like UMI known for quality makes such crappy videos, where are the benchmarks?
I want some 6589 gaming videos with big demanding games, temple run isnt a benchmark even old as hell phones from 2 or 3 years ago can run that game, but the 6577 chocked up running GTA.
I want to see a 6589 running both GTAs
also the black background at the bottom of the screen when he browses the settings seems to be very bright, as if the backlight was not really well dispatched troughout the screen.
