We’re still waiting (impatiently) for a release date for the Neo N003, so to keep are appetites happy Neo have leaked some spy photos of the worlds cheapest 1080 phone ahead of launch.

After seeing these photos there isn’t much we don’t know about the Neo N003. We know the phone will feature a 5-inch, full 1080HD display, 13 mega-pixel rear camera, quad-core MT6589 CPU, up-to 2GB RAM and a 3000mAh battery, we just don’t know when we can buy one!

Anyway these tear-down N003 photos show us that the phone will be a dual-sim device, and will support SD cards. We can also see a steel chassis located in the phone which should keep it nice and rigid.

I have never seen a battery marked like that for its capacity! Looks fake.
Probably a marketing trick. Hyping up the product with prototype battery at best, at worst a fake sticker.

Yes it is a prototype but yes definitely a marketing gimmick which might well pay off.

So what if it says 3000 mAh ? Unfortunately the Chinese manufacturers exaggerate the specs sometimes so … a 2000 mAh battery can easily become a 3000 mAh one.

Well well, someone seems to have it in stock however I don’t see the “correct” amount of ROM…. but the battery is 3000mAh

N003 is just too big. For 5″ we can find smaller smarphones.
And yes, if a chinese say 3000mAH, you must be happy if it is 2700mAh.

From the site above (minideal): “Shipping Time : Around 5th May”

    That gives already an indication!
