When it comes to Android smartphone’s it seems bigger is better, and not many Chinese Android mobiles get much bigger or brighter than this 6-inch Super AMOLEDSamsungGalaxy Mega clone!
It’s only been a few days until word of the 6.3-inch SamsungGalaxy Mega made it’s way in to headlines across the web, however Chinese phablet maker Ebera have already managed to launch a very similar looking device with 6-inch Super AMOLED display!
Gizchina News of the week
Named the Dragon V89, the phone bears the unmistakable Samsung silhouette, which so many Chinese phone brands have adopted for their flagship large screen devices. Behind the 6-inch panel the popular quad-core MT6589 CPU from Mediatek with 1GB RAM get’s this beast running at an impressive rate with Antutu scorers topping 12,800.
While the 720Hd Super AMOLED panel is one of the highlights of the SamsungGalaxy Megaclone it’s not the only thing this device has going for it. The rear camera is a 13 mega-pixel unit while the front is 5 mega-pixels, and to ensure you have enough juice for a full date the battery is 3800mAh capacity cell!
The V89 will launch later this month with prices estimated to be around the 1999 Yuan mark ($320).

Should have gone with 2GB’s of RAM. Shame, it was great until I got to the RAM part… 🙁 I tend to have a few app’s running in the background, which is why I always get an extended battery.
“Umi Mobiles has already commenced production of ‘Final Version” of Umi X2 and currently packaging…” (from umimobile facebook)
I suppose UMI has solved it somehow, unless they are talking about 1G version.
The ebera phone is already a fail, to have such a nice and big screen and no full HD.
Have you seen the FUll HD UMI Antutu Scores, I don’t think Mediatek 6589 will be able to take Full HD and score high in Benchmarks, so better is 720p, but I agree with you about 2GB RAM
@Andi: do all the phones having 2gb ram are having problems? Few are already out there.
