Latest UMi X2 unboxing photos shows onscreen navigation is finally gone!

Ever since we first saw the prototype UMi X2 way back at the start of the year we have all wondered just when the developers will get around to removing the black onscreen navigation bar, or indeed if they would! Well that question seems to have been answered with these latest unboxing photos.

Finally it appears that UMi have gotten around to removing the black on-screen navigation bar which many readers were concerned about. New unboxing photos of the UMi X2 show that the 5-inch, 1080HD display is free of unwanted clutter enabling users to use the full display.

The photos also show us that the removable rear plastic back is made of a very pliable plastic which can be bent almost in two without fear of it snapping.

Still no firm release date for the UMi X2 2GB RAM model, but source are still pointing at a May date, so let’s keep our fingers crossed.
