Lenovo K900 price now rumoured to be $420 available from 6th May

Lenovo have been sitting on the Lenovo K900 for sometime now. Originally the Intel powered phone was to launch this month, however it didn’t and now May 6th is the promised date, but the extra wait might be worth it thanks to a new rumoured low price!

Gizchina News of the week

The Lenovo K900, originally shown at CES at the start of the year, is a Chinese smartphone with more bells and whistles than we would know what to brag about first! It boasts a large 5.5-inch 1080 display, powerful dual-core Intel CPU, 2GB RAM, 13 mega-pixel Sony camera, and we can reveal for the first time uses a 2500mAh battery (which we hope is big enough!).

The K900 will only be officially be available on sale in China and from launch day to only place to buy one is thought the popular E-commerce portal 360buy.com, with a new rumoured price to be just 2599 Yuan ($420)!

Is it dual sim though? Some websites list it as being a dual sim phone, which I’m having a hard time to believe

In my country (Indonesia) all Lenovo Android phones are available. I can predict this one will be as well. However, the really weak point about Lenovo is zero official updates. So, unless you ROM mania, expect to have no updates. With Key Lime Pie on horizon (Google IO on May 2013), if you aren’t geeky enough to have your Lenovo a custom ROM, say good bye to KLP on your K900.
