Chinese phone maker TCL expands it’s range to include the TCL S606 Windows phone 7.5 smartphone in it’s range.
Windows phone OS and Chinese manufacturers aren’t common in this day and age, but the interest is there and phone makers are beginning to take steps to cash in on the growing Windows phone fan base here in China.
Gizchina News of the week
The TCL S606 has been manufactured to come in at under 800 Yuan so a 4-inch WVGA display sits up front, the CPU is a single-core 1Ghz unit and there is just 512mb RAM keeping the retail price down to just 799 Yuan ($130).
If the price and sleek design weren’t enough to attract possible customers, TCL have also bundled the phone with a ticket to see Iron Man 3.

eh, it’s a single core chipset, the same one that’s in the HTC HD2, with an adreno 200 gpu. It’s not good, even at this price.
If it was a 7.8 Wp included, it would serve as an introduction to windows phones at a low price, but nowadays going with an 2010 hardware with an already obsolete version of Wp is DOA. Maybe next time they will do it right…
This is pretty dumb with the Nokia lumia 520 available for so cheap with over all better specs and windows 8, why would anyone buy this? and speaking as as international customer, when we buy it it would cost us as much or maybe more than a nokia lumia 520
i think huawei windows phone is better than this one as it has dual core processor and price is 1000 RMB just 200 yuans more but specs and quality is better.
