Another purported Xiaomi Mi3 design leaked with more hardware details

The Xiaomi Mi3 is a hot topic at the moment with numerous sightings over the past few weeks and months. Is this blurry image the real Mi3, or is it another decoy?

If you followed last year’s Xiaomi Mi2leaks then you will remember that the Beijing based phone start-up had everyone following numerous bizarre looking ‘prototypes’ and managed to keep the design of the then newphone a secret up until hours before the launch. It appears they are doing it again with the Xiaomi Mi3.

Previous photos of the supposed Xiaomi Mi3 appeared which show a phone similar to the current Mi2 but with a more tapered body and larger 5-inch display. Today a new blurry image shows an entirely new design, and one we very much prefer!

The new blurry purported Xiaomi Mi3 leak shows us a phone which looks more like a Sony Xpreria device than the current generation Xiaomi designs. Like the other leaks and rumours this prototype is said to have a larger 5-inch FHD display plus built-in NFC like the current entry-level Mi2a.

Further Xiaomi Mi3leaks are bound to show up over the next few weeks but will they be entirely new designs are will they follow this current model?

For 320$ even with a Snapdragon 600 its a great Bargain. Except if Nexus 5 comes comes out with Snapdragon 800 and the same 299$ Price tag.

I really hope they don’t make it a 5 inch 1080p phone. Would much prefer something around 4.6 inches, which would keep it feeling Xiaomi.

at least 5″ fhd screen, 5,5″ if possible, 3600 mah removeable battery, snapdragon 800, or 600 to keep its price around $300, and all other rumoured specs, i hope thats not just a rumour, remember despite how gut the specs are, it is still a chinese phone…they cant apply the same price with those korean n nippon manufacturers

  5.5″ will make Xiaomi lose a lot of its customer, probably more than it’d gain. My reason? Look at S3 and Note II sales.

    Then, why not 2 versions of the MI3, one 4,5″ and another 5,5-6″? That’d be great. Xiaomi sales will continue strong if they keep lauching phones like the MI1, MI2, M2S,…

about the design i hope the real one is not like the picture above, it is more stylish if it is a bit curvy on the edges, like htc one….

I can not really see a phone on this picture…yeah I agree, please xiaomi do not make a phone too big! limit would be 4.7 screen in a compact body

For me, 5″ or 5.5″ is welcome(in Android world, bigger is better. Compare s2, s3 & s4 screen size and their sales thereafter, I thought of buying mi2s, but screen too little for my likes) then, a 3600mAh battery is highly expected, 32GB and 64GB, heard of mi-hifi(don’t know what it is though, but it’s welcome) then a pure English miui rom without Chinese writing of any kind. 13mp and 5mp of camera. About design, xperia styling will be nice. Else, they should retain normal m2 style(galaxy s3 is horrible)….. Xioami=+1

Just make a superduper phone of similar dimensions to the M2A, If there is a demand then by all means make a phone greater than 5″ but its not for me. I would prefer a couple of tablets instead.

Samsung gs3 n note2 didnt hit a high selling rate because of their overly high price….not because of the scrren size…….smartphones with screen under 5” looks cheap…….look at bb z10…..its a flop…..i will never pay that much for such a smal screen

I would love to see wifi direct feature n microsd slot,female english voice assistant in the next xiaomi mi3, and add battery low, charging start, charge complete sound notification! Just like blackberry phones, that would be cool….andi please tell xiaomi guys to add these features…

Add a features that prevents the battery from overcharging, if the battery gets fully charged after a few minutes, it will disconect the electricity, my motorola xoom has this feature…make the dessign combination of htc one and samsung gs4, like htc one but a bit wide like sgs4, im so looking forward to this phone, i really hope that it wont be dissapointing..
