The current version of the iOcean X7 has been on sale for almost 2 months now and has been gaining rave reviews, but for those wanting a little more power, a better rear camera and more memory then you will be happy to hear the iOcean X7 Elite will go on sale soon.
Gizchina News of the week
As usual Chinese phone fans will be the first to get their hands on the Turbo powered iOcean X7 Elite, with international customers having to wait for the frenzy to die down and resellers obtain stock, but the wait looks worth it though!
The updated version of the X7 features a faster, more powerful 1.5Ghz MT6589T quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB ROM and a 13 mega-pixel camera. The 5-inch 1080 screen and other hardware details remain the same as the current Youth model.
Pricing in China is set at 1499 Yuan ($244), but expect prices to reach the same level as the UMi X2 2GB in the international market.
Can’t wait I definitely want it.

Okay…… Thanks, Andi. I think I read somewhere that this version will have atleast OTG support, but I’m not sure abt. it…………… It will be a great device if it has OTG and MHL support……
Andi, please could you confirm MHL yes or not? thanX
Can anybody post details of seller? i am in india…and does it have expandable memory (sd card)?
It already had 32gb built in…you really need MORE than this? Wow…
Anyway I read that it has micro sd slot. But not sure of course.
Where are you Jiayu G6? And Jiayu S1? Please…Jiayu…stop being so stupid!!
That’s great news! Andi, do you consider selling some phones with a little bit lower price for Gizchina users? 😀 I think these resellers take too much for their own 😉
I wonder if gizchina could organise a group buy if a number of us were keen?
This would be great! That phone is awesome and i’m a lot of gizchina readers would take a chance to have it cheaper.

hi andi hows the camera quality of this device compared to sony xperia sp
Just ordered Iocean X7 Premium. It does have USB On-The-Go. The Jiayu G4 that I ordered five weeks ago, from the factory(shop) – did not arrive, so Paypal should refund the $$.
The next ‘new’ phone to arrive (if it ever does, from ChinaPadMall) has had the most detailed benchtesting that I have ever seen on a China-phone.

The above url was translated from German into English. The early production model tested was not perfect, but it performed well, compared to: Amoi N828 (%), Google Nexus 4 (84.5%), Sony Xperia E dual (84%), & Samsung Galaxy S DUOS GT-S7562.
Hoping that my order, if it arrive ok, has the early bugs worked out. The dealer I used was deceptive: claiming a bigger battery in the order’s description. Only in the fine print in the Q&A does the dealer mention that they are deliberately giving the wrong impression. The larger battery is not part of the ordered item, as they claim. My bad, since I only read the hidden fine print AFTER I placed my order.
