HTC is planning to launch the new Butterfly S smartphone in China. The updated 5-inch is expected to launch June 19th but has already been spotted in leaked photos.
Gizchina News of the week
The 5-inch Butterfly was and still is a very popular phone, but times are moving on and a new model is waiting to takeover. The successor to the Butterfly, named the HTC Butterfly S has been leaked to the press already in these spy photos.
Like the original version the Butterfly S appears to have a 5-inch display with we assume is a 1080 FHD unit, it is also reported that the S will be powered by a Snapdragon 600 CPU running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. We also hope the Butterfly S get’s some of the HTC One’s features such as BoomSound and an Ultrapixel camera.

So Chinese phone manufacturers got one more design to gorge and copy from………..
Not really. it’s the same butterfly as before.
Design is little modified from previous version, this phones is having dual stereo speaker in front of phone, same as HTC one, whereas previous model was having Speaker at the back of the device……… 🙂
That’s nice . I was wondering why they put a second bump on the device. Generally though, it’s preferable to copy other devices mainly because you can use the original acessories.
Yes KIRF’s has advantge of using original accesories, especially the covers, but their build quality is very bad, and most of the problems associated with Chinese mobiles are mostly with copy devices, original phones like Zopo, Jiayu, Neo, Newman etc have better quality…….
What is the price in China?
