Although Shenzhen is where most of the Chinese factories and manufactures are based, it seems most of the exciting developments are start-up in the capital Beijing!
All newChinesesmartphone start-up Geak has just launched it’s all new range of device in Beijing this afternoon. The launch event acted as the launch pad for the Geak Eye and Geak Marks Android smartphone, the Geak Smartwatch and even a Geak ring!

Geak Eye Android smartphone
The Geak Eye is priced at 1999 Yuan ($320) and features a 13 mega-pixel rear camera with F/2.2 apertures and ISO of up to 3200. Those of you who like to take self portraits will be excited to learn the Eye sports an 8 mega-pixel front camera, rumoured to be the same unit as found on the back of the iPhone 5!
The Geak Eye also comes equipped with a 5-inch HD display with 2.7mm narrow bezels, 1GB RAM, 16GB ROM, quad-core MT6589 processor, built-in 2000mAh battery and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Geak’s own Geak ROM!
