It looks like HTC are working on a low-cost replacement for the HTC Desire C as seen in this earlier hands on video of the HTC Desire 200!
The HTC Desire 200 hasn’t been officially announced, denied or confirmed by the Taiwanese phone maker, yet someone has already managed to get their hands on the phone and publish a hands on video.
Gizchina News of the week
Apparently the HTC Desire 200 will have a small 3.5-inch display, be powered by a 1Ghz processor with 512mb RAM and run Android 4.0 ICS out of the box.

Looks even worse than my 2 years old HTC Desire S
The Desire S actually has superior hardware specs. Custom rom and the OS problem goes away too. My first smartphone was the original Desire, a solid device with good specs at the time. I don’t like that the Desire name now seems to be replacing the Wildfire as the cheap low end. Desire S was a solid followup, the C and 200 really seem a bit rubbish.
I see front facing speakers!
what a load of rubbish! These specs are terrible, all their competitors like sony, samsung etc are giving their low end phones 1gb, 4″ 480×800 screens and dual core 1.0/1.2ghz processors with android 4.1 or 4.2. No wonder HTC is losing money.
