Like we all dont use a screen protector. And i dont even fill 16gb of data. International price will be much lesser than 300$ im sure. NFC is just so funny to use 😛

Waiting for Anexonel’s review of the F1. From Boots Wong’s video, I can deduce that the display on this is better than the one one the C2, and it has really nice thin bezels too. If Anexonel says that the F1 has good build quality and speed, then I won’t need to think about it anymore.

You should have pre ordered it from Faea’s own website. It’s only 239$ there. Also according to their website, units are going to be dispatched as soon as 1 July. Give us some review once toy get it!

Done a WHOIS search for http://www.faeamobile.com and found registered by vihao.ltd, seems not the official site

      • June 24, 2013

The website seems to be brand new 😛 no-one on forum and specifications for F2 are wrong :/ (Snapdragon CPU ?)

Oops, i didnt know that website!!! 😛 . Anyway i preordered about more than a 1 week ago. And it says “From $239.99” , so i think the mt6589t 32gb 2gb 3000mah otg nfc mhl (the full version!) will be more expensive.

Maybe is an official international website, but they need to update the phone specifications. Better wait until the launch day and we’ll see.

If they actulally gonna sell it as Andi wrote (5″ FHD, 2GB RAM, MTK6589T,13M/5M, 3000mAh, OTG), if $211 (actually, anything below $230 is just fine for 2GB phone) will be the “international” price on their site (+$10 for registered mail), if they won’t postpone release date by half a year (like some other companies we know), if buttons will work as they should (not like some other phones we know), if GPS will work properly without folium-soldering-hacks (not like some other …), if they put (or not, but it would be great 🙂 ) second battery, protector film and bumper in the package …

Then tell me, who’s gonna wait Neo N003? Seriously?

    Sooooo, what’s the catch?

    • Sergio
      June 24, 2013

      What’s the catch?
      Here’s an example: http://goo.gl/tSMWI
5.0″ 1920×1080, MTK6589, 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM, 5M/13M, 2x2500mAh for $172.99. Looks incredible? Ok, that 2500mAh is probably closer to ~1950mAh (as we saw many times on YouTube low-end MTK phone reviews), glass is not Gorilla, no OTG. But when checking in google, you will find the phone with exactly the same name, but with lower specs, 720p and much older (45nm) MTK6577.
      It’s probably nothing, but… Strange, isn’t?

That’s a cheap, unoriginal, badly QCed clone. We’re talking about a larger Chinese brand with it’s own designs and technology here. Those kinds of things don’t really happen with these brands.

        • Sergio
          June 25, 2013

My point was, even with famous chinese online shop, sometimes you might get suspicious, that either they send the phone with some other specs, or even they actually send it, the phone will be stopped on EU border as pretty obvious contrafact (despite CE, FCC logos on the back or under the batteries).
That’s why you should wait for user (besides seller) review in YouTube, and read forums for positive feedbacks, before making decision.

Of course, there is a good thing with cheap “copies” – you can use original accessories from local store.

@Andi is $211 the international price?

    • June 24, 2013

No, it’s just the conversion of the Chinese price. If it is an international price I’ll write “International Price”

yeah. but i heard in previous comments that it may be fake. 🙁 but i wonder if merimobiles is a safe site i can buy it from? because you get a 1 yr warranty and you can buy screen protector.? so i wonder if that can be a good site to buy it from. anyone that have any experiance from that site? 🙂

        • Demetrio
          August 7, 2013

          No, it isn’t a fake.
I write and read their forum. “faeamobile” comes from their customer support and he answers sometime to customer questions. They give 2 years warranty.
who said it’s a fake? can you remember the thread?
merimobiles is a good canadian site (I have no direct experience, I just read some forum), so if you are from north america you should consider it because you wouldn’t pay duty taxes.

Antelife has it for about 217 USD today.

I would go to Taobao though and get one with the cover (1199 + 49 CNY). You’d have to use a Taobao-agent though.
