Lenovo K900 black edition with 32GB memory on sale today

China’s Lenovo have launched a new black version of the Intel powered LenovoK900 today in black.

Like the standard all alloy silver Lenovo K900, this new black version gets the same 2Ghz Intel Atom Z2580 processor, 2GB RAM, 5.5-inch 1080 display, 13 mega-pixel camera, 25000 mAh battery and Android 4.2.2 OS. The only differences are the colour, the increase in memory to 32GB and a price increase to match.

The 32GB black LenovoK900 is now on sale in China for 3499 Yuan ($569) the standard 16GB model is still priced at 2999 Yuan, and will likely launch elsewhere later in the year.

Love to get one but at twice the price of a UMI or Neo, it is too overly priced.

$569, that’s quite some price for a phone. A good Lenovo laptop or tablet is less than that. Phones must be in a bubble market, the prices are completely outsized for comparative IT equipment and gadgetry.

I would say, the price is in a reasonable way, even it might look expensive in the first place. The build quality is really good. I use the K900 for around 1 month now and it is really like a premium phone, except some missing software offerings on the chinese version. The battery is ok, but don’t expect magic life times here. On average, it will last for 1 day usage. But if you play games or do other heavy resource hungry apps, the fun can be over in 2,5 hours. Lenovo just released a new firmware for the K900 yesterday and from the changes they made some improvements in the powers savings etc.
