Oppo have started to accept pre-orders for an updated version of the Oppo Find 5 which is powered by a faster 1.7Ghz Snapdragon 600 processor!
This one had managed to slip under the GizChina radar until this morning when reader Waris left us a comment asking us to look in to a rumoured Oppo Find 5China Mobile Edition, and low and behold here it is!
Known on the Chinese market as the Oppo Find 5 TD, the updated model has been specially designed to support China Mobiles own TD-SCDMA 3G network and receives a faster 1.7Ghz Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor, where as the current Find 5 has a 1.5Ghz quad-core Snapdragon S4.
The rest of the hardware remains the same including the 5-inch 1080 441ppi display, 2GB RAM, 13 mega-pixel Sony Exymor rear camera plus built-in NFC! Pre-orders have already started with pricing starting at 2998 Yuan ($487). There is currently no word on an international launch yet.

Hi Andi,
One Direct heart to heart question,
Wait for Xiaomi Mi3, Buy Gionee E6 or Wait For Oppo Find 7???
Money/ Waiting Time no Bar..
Focus on Excellent Quality Build and even Better Camera, with good Wifi Connectivity…
Thanx.. Keep up the good work..
I think Gionee falls behind in terms of quality/user base at the moment. You can expect the Xiaomi Mi3 to come before the OPPO Find 7, I’m sure the Find 7 will take at least 8-10 months more.
