The JiaYu G4Advanced will go on sale tomorrow, and along with the updatedprocessor and additional RAM, this new version will also receive better camera hardware!
While we have been impressed with the JiaYu G4’s 13 mega-pixelcamera for general use, the inner photographer inside us has wanted a little more clarity now and then for more reliable point and shoot action.
It seems JiaYu have been listing too, as the JiaYu G4Advanced will receive updatedcamera hardware! The Advanced version of the G4 will sport a 13 mega-pixel rear sensor, but JiaYu have swapped manufactures for the Advanced to offer higher performance image processing to their flagship phone. JiaYu claim the new camera comes from the same supplier as the camera from the iPhone 5 (Sony ?) and the updated includes a move to F/2.2 Aperture size over the standard F/2.4.
JiaYu G4 Advanced photo samples
Below are parts of a photo taken with the new JiaYu G4 Advanced, enlarged to see the update in clarity and contrast. The images on the left come from the JiaYu G4Advanced white the ones on the right are from the Standard G4.
As well as the updatedcamera the JiaYu G4Advanced will have a faster 1.5Ghz quad-core MT6589T processor, 2GB RAM and OTG support.
Thanks to 2PointOBoy for the tip!
yes what a shame. These phones would have such more universal appeal if they supported extra frequency bands. There’s a lot of upset neighbouring Australians!
huh?
I thought G4 does support wcdma 900…

That image means nothing other than that the handset is capable of supporting those bands IF it has a radio chip fitted and tuned to the right band. I can tell you the G4 does not support any 900MHz 3G. I own one and believe me I have tested it!
