THLlaunched their new flagship Monkey King handset yesterday, but they have also quietly launched a newbudget handset costing just $159.99.
We had seen quite a few spy photos of the THLMonkey King and THL 200, however the THL 100 had remained a secret right up until today! Like the other newTHL phones there is an all new design, but it’s the price which has caught our attention.

At $159.99 the THL W100 is one of the most affordable Chinese Android phones we have seen from a larger phone maker, and they haven’t skimped on the hardware either! There is a 4.5-inch 960 x 540 display, 1.2Ghz MT6589 quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean.
THL are shipping the W100 with a screen protector and 2 x 1800 mAh batteries which they claim will give the W100 a standby time of around 2-3 days. For those interested in picking up one of these low-cost quad-core phones head over to the Lightake store here.
