As rumoured Xiaomi will be slashing the price of their flagship Xioami Mi2s from 1999 Yuan to 1699 Yuan ($276).
Those of us following the official Xiaomi Wechat news feed received a message this morning confirming what we had already suspected. Xiaomi will be dropping the price of the current Xiaomi Mi2S to 1699 Yuan ($276) whats there will be 100,000 Mi2S available in an open sale from 12th July along with 50,000 sets of Xiaomi earbuds.

Only the 16GB Xiaomi Mi2s will be reduced which features a 1.7Ghz Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, and 8 mega-pixel rear camera. The price drop won’t affect the state of high Xiaomi reseller prices.
