Gionee rumours to be launching low-cost Gionee Elife E6 Mini


Gionee recently launch the excellent looking, but expensive, Gionee Elife E6. Rumours are now circulating that a cheaper ‘mini’ version is on the way.

If these rumours are true then Gionee could be one of the first manufacturers to produce a ‘mini’ version of a flagship MTK powered Android phone.

The full size Gionee Elife E6 went on sale sometime last week and features a stylish body, 5-inch 1080 display, 2GB RAM and powerful quad-core processor. The Gionee Elife E6 is expected to remain visually the same as it’s big brother but have a smaller 4.3inch 1280 x 720 panel, and 16GB memory.

Pricing of the E6 Mini is rumoured to be just 1699 Yuan ($276).

    It all looks nice and dandy until you buy the phone and and find out it is a piece of expensive paper weight. You are stuck with it because of bad resellers like android-sale.com
    Chinese phones are hit and miss that is my lesson so far.
