THL Monkey King 2 to feature 4G LTE support

THL have released design sketches of the Monkey King 2 along with details that it will support 4G LTE networks.

THL are quickly becoming the Chinese brand to watch for innovation and style, and in our opinion are quickly becoming a more exciting brand than Zopo who appear to be stuck in an innovative rut!

The recent launch of the Monkey King with dual 13 mega-pixel cameras set the standard for THL and the 2nd generation Monkey King 2 promises to build on this with 4G LTE support and possibly an 8-core Mediatek processor.

As you can see from the design artwork, the newMonkey King model goes back to the traditional rounded design of previous THL phones but features a much narrower screen edge than seen before.

We don’t expect to see the Monkey King 2 on sale before the end of this year, however we do believe that new and exciting THL models will launch before 2014.
