All the current Xiaomi Mi3 leaked photos to date!

Are you all as excited about the upcoming Xiaomi Mi3 launch as I am? If so then lay your eyes on all the leaked Xiaomi Mi3 images to date!

Everyone in China is waiting for Beijing based phone maker Xiaomi to announce their next generation flagship phone, in fact if rumour are correct then the Mi3 will become official in just 6 days (August 16th)!

Xiaomi Mi3 specifications

There are a few details we are still unsure about such as if the Mi3 will feature a Tegra 4 chip or Qualcomm 800 processor, but there are a number of details which we are pretty sure about such as:

5-inch display
1920 x 1080 FHD 1080 resolution
13 mega-pixel rear camera
2GB RAM
5Ghz WIFI
NFC
3600mAh battery

Recent news also suggests the use of a new IGZO display the possibility of 3GB RAM and the inclusion of Xiaomi Piston earbuds.

Xiaomi Mi3 design

As you can see by the images above and below we are pretty sure that the Xiaomi Mi3 will feature are more angular rectangle design compared to current Xiaomi phones.

The screen bezel is also smaller meaning that even with the larger display the phone will still be quite comfortable to hold.

Although the front is larger and has a different design we expect the rear to be similar to current phones and may still feature a replaceable rear shell allowing users to remove and replace the battery.

Pricing is believed to still just 1999 Yuan for Chinese customers, the phone will also be available in Hong Kong and Taiwan but an international launch doesn’t seem likely.

I really hope they continue the trend of practically sized devices and do not go for a 5 incher!

    I’m guessing you have never used a 5″ or higher for more than 3 days? Once you’re used to having big displays, you can never go back. Hence why I want a Vivo Xplay.

      I got a Find 5. However, I’n not into gaming as such, so yeah I would like a 4.5-4.7 inch phone more.

  I am more concern about battery life, anything that last under 15 hours are useless , even with the small screen…

    I wouldn’t worry about that. The 3600mAh battery should easily make it through the day.

Any word yet on this phone’s 4G support?
With all these talks about the Chinese government trying to roll out 4G license (most likely the TD variant) by the end of the year, you would think that Xiaomi would do much better releasing their new phones with 4G support.
It would also help them for overseas market. A lot more people would be more willing to give these phones a shot if only they support 4G connections.

1) the rectangle design is not bad but the angular edges makes it looks stiff, at less make the edges a bit curvy, example, like u can see in this link:

i think its too late to hope for a design change….^_^’ but based on xiaomi habits, the leaked images are not the real one???
2) hopefully the igzo display is not just a rumour, lg g2 has gram, so dont lose xiaomi, mi3 should be equiped with igzo display to, crystal clear screen plus dramatically longer battery life (see link above), and dragon trail glass (or better one) off course
3) the igzo display will help with the battery life, but still i wish the battery life could be bigger, mi3 will use quite a big screen plus fhd resolution and powerfull snapdragon 800, 4000mah (like lenovo p780), so hopefully it could last more than a day, dont have to charge it everyday, for normal daily usage at least
4) REMOVABLE type of battery, please dont forget ur customers who live outside china, if something happen to the battery we just need to buy online and replace it, we dont have to send the phone to china, its complicated, costly and risky….about the design at least u can make it look like a one-piece phone with non removable battery
5) battery protection from overcharging, when the battery is fully charged, the phone will disconnect the electricity from the battery
6) microsd slot!
7) xiaomi piston earbuds + screen protector as bonus please 🙂

though the leaked designs are not up to my expectations with xiaomi, still the specs listed are worth drooling over …
just wanted to ask if the built quality and touch of xiaomi phones comparable to those of samsung and htc ??
i am quite serious abt buying ths beast so just having last min doubts …
will be putting my brothers partner in beijing on task to procure one for me 🙂
