LG Display have just announced a 5.5-inchsmartphonedisplay with a whopping 2560 x 1440 resolution!
I don’t know about you but my daily phone is still on a 1280 x 720 display and I am only just planning to upgrade to a 1920 x 1080 phone, but as luck would have it 1080 phones will be obsolete soon thanks to a new display by LG!

Measuring 5.5-inch the LGdisplay offers a resolution of 2560 x 1440 the panel is just 1.21mm thin with 1.2mm bezels. That huge resolution equals to a pixel density of 538 on the 5.5-inch demo screen which offers a brightness of 430nit.

As the current owner of one, I can’t agree more. Those large pixels hurt my eyes :\
